Essential Protection
Immunisation is essential to protect yourself and your family when travelling to certain countries. We provide advice on required vaccinations and the length of time you should plan those vaccinations before you go away. In general, we ask patients to allow a minimum of three weeks before the departure date.
Where necessary we can provide ‘rapid programmes’ but not all vaccinations are immediately effective and in general we advise against this. An initial consultation is carried out and a certificate is provided showing the immunisations you have received.
Some occupations carry certain health hazards but there is no obligation on employers to provide appropriate vaccinations. Our clinic offers immunisation against Hepatitis B and other serious illnesses.

Influenza Vaccines
The influenza virus, as opposed to the common cold, is a serious illness that is likely to render the sufferer unable to work for several days with side effects lasting much longer.
Unless you fall into the segment of the population that is automatically entitled to a flu jab you are unlikely to be able to obtain immunisation from your GP or health clinic.
We can provide the flu vaccine to those who are unable to obtain it on the NHS.
